You guys have done so well so far! The past week was packed with healthy eating and exercise, which is the goal for all the weeks of 2016. As promised, today is a rest day. But like any challenge, there is a bit of a twist…
First, a reminder: Follow along with as many Challenge Days as possible and let me know that you did by either commenting on my blog, Tweeting (@nutritionalanat) at me, posting a picture to my Instagram (nutritionalanat), or writing on my Facebook page. I will randomly select a winner to receive 3 nutrition counseling sessions or cooking classes.
Day 10: REST
Today, I’m giving you 3 options. You can choose which option is best for you:
- Rest. Don’t worry about eating healthy or exercising. Just go about your business as usual. But, make sure that you get at least 8 hours of sleep. Lack of sleep leads to overeating and low energy for exercise.
- Revisit the past 9 days. Either repeat a challenge that you really liked or do one that you missed. I will be doing this with the abs and glutes challenge from Day 8.
- Go grocery shopping with a list. Make a list of healthy items that you learned about from the past week. It may include vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and lean proteins. Go to the grocery store with these things on your list, and buy only these items!
