I know I’m late, but I have one. My mom told me once that she read somewhere about older people developing “wheat belly” (apparently a fat belly caused by eating too much “whole wheat”)…. So she eats plain white bread Instead. *rolling my eyes hard*. This is her argument every time I tell her that she and my dad need to eat whole grains and drop the simple carbs bad starches: “but I read that older people can develop wheat belly,..” Lol!
